AK + Neil: Bold Snowy Photos | Anchorage, Alaska
Bold and Cold Snowy Photos in Anchorage, Alaska
These two Anchorage transplants found their way all the way from New York City to Anchorage, Alaska. How you may ask? Due to the pandemic, coronavirus hit New York City very hard. These two decided to reevaluate their situation and made a bold move.
From new york to alaska
AK and Neil made a bold move to head to the mountains during this pandemic. What better place to be in a pandemic than somewhere “isolated” from the rest of the states. They found their journey leading them to Anchorage, Alaska. And like that they packed up their belongings and their two dogs.
I was so excited to meet AK and Neil. They have such style! I literally told them to wear whatever they want because I saw their instagram’s and new they didn’t need any help. We headed to mid-town Anchorage to Mann Leiser Memorial Greenhouse. It was closed due to the city wide mandate - which we were prepared for. If you’re wanting to escape the cold for a little while, I highly recommend checking out Mann Leiser Memorial Greenhouse. It is absolutely breathtaking! You will see tropical plants, and cacti that reach the ceiling. Though we were not able to go inside, we made the best out of it. The area gave us a beautiful backdrop different from the mountains. It snowed half way through - so we got some magical snowing photos in the gallery as well.
There were quiet moments, funny moments, and COLD moments. I appreciate their fashion sense so much! Bold layers, textures, and patterns. This was such a fun day. Let’s do more non-conventional photoshoots like this one! Click here to do it! If you struggle to compile your outfits for your photoshoot - stay tuned for an outfit guide blog coming out soon.
ALSO can we please all appreciate Neil’s shoes? I mean c’mon!
