Proposal in Seward, Alaska at Exit Glacier
He proposed to her at Exit Glacier in Seward, Alaska.
“Popping the question” is such a big moment in one’s life. I believe it should be captured in some form: a friend, stranger or hiring a photographer and/or videographer. Preparing your proposal can be so nerve racking, but when you hire a professional photographer and/or videographer, they can help you out with the logistics and planning.
She got her ice at the ice.
Grace and Alex were planning a fun getaway to Alaska and little did Grace know her life was going to change. Alex found me through instagram as he was planning his proposal. Alex reached out to me and we talked about how to keep me being a “third wheel” casual. We decided on the Exit Glacier hike in the Kenai Fjords National Park in Seward, Alaska. I was the hired “tour guide with photography services” and once we reached the glacier view Alex would propose to Grace. This day played out perfectly! We hiked a mile to the Exit Glacier, and as I was “giving them a tour” I got to know their love story. As we reached the glacier view, I gave them a moment to take it in. Alex popped the question, and I was able to capture the moment. It was beautiful and my heart was beating so fast - as I felt as if I was asking the question - haha.
Grace was ecstatic and told Alex that he did everything perfect. She was so happy that he hired a professional photographer to capture this special moment. After the proposal we had the remaining hour to hike around and get some epic photos of them in the mountains with the new “ice”.
When you book me to photograph your proposal, you’ll get someone who is as giddy as your are about this day. I will bring some champagne or whatever you prefer to toast and start the party! Book me to photograph your proposal here.
I had such a great time with Alex and Grace. Enjoy these images from this special day.
