Intimate Summer Wedding at Alyeska Resort

It was the perfect summer day in Alaska. It was a warm July day in the small ski town of Girdwood, Alaska. Brittney and Kaden decided to have an intimate wedding with their family at the beautiful Alyeska Resort. It was intimate and filled with love. These two kind souls wanted a carefree beautiful day. And that it was. It was warm, relaxed and breathtaking.

We started the day getting ready at the Alyeska Resort. After their short and sweet ceremony in the courtyard we took family photos and headed up on the gondola to the top of the mountain. With breathtaking views comes breathtaking images. They ended the evening with dinner at the Seven Glaciers Restaurant at the top of the mountain.

The Alyeska Resort in Girdwood, AK is known for their ski resort in the wintertime. Its high elevation and gorgeous mountain views is what attracts skiers and snowboarders of all types. In the summer time you’ll find the snow melted and trails to hike. The gondola runs year round to bring guests up to the peak for dinner and drinks. From the peak of Alyeska you can try to find the 7 glaciers visible.

Girdwood, Alaska sits off the famous Seward Highway just 30 minutes south of Anchorage. It’s a lovely small town filled with their adorable A-frame cabins. Girdwood is a must when visiting Alaska, and a popular spot to get married.
