What an absolute gorgeous day it was this weekend in Homer. It was the warmest weekend of summer 2021, with it being 80 degrees. Chena and Brandon were blessed with a beautiful day, with epic views of the Kachemak Bay and the mountains.
AK Diamond J Ranch is one of the pristine wedding venues in Homer. It’s a popular location for weddings due to its gorgeous location and kind owners. This ranch is located in the country/hillside of Homer, Alaska. It houses beautiful horses (who get to witness your wedding) and has a spectacular view of the Kachemak Bay.

Chena and Brandon wanted a fun celebration with their family and their close friends. Chena’s family who resides in Alaska helped her with her wedding day from coordination to baking all the baked goods.
Their wedding was filled with so much joy as everyone who was there was there to serve the couple. There were tears, dancing, keg stands, and horses - what more could you ask for?
After party at the Salty Dawg Saloon is a must!
After partying with the midnight sun we headed to the famous Salty Dawg Saloon little after party. The Salty Dawg Saloon is located on the Homer Spit where tourists, locals, and fishermen come and gather to end their day with an ice cold alcoholic beverage. This saloon is covered from wall to wall and ceiling of one dollar bills. People come to commemorate their times they’ve had on the spit at Salty Dawg Saloon by signing a one dollar bill and tacking it onto its wall. If you decide to come to Salty Dawg Saloon for your after party or just to visit - make sure to bring cash as that’s the only form of payment they take.
I enjoyed celebrating with Chena and Brandon so much! Their friends and family were so welcoming I felt like I was a guest at the wedding. I’m here for more parties like this to capture.
