Luxury Intimate Wedding at Hotel Emma
Hotel Emma in the historic Pearl District in San Antonio, Texas is the perfect space for an intimate wedding. Sheila and Dave decided to host their close family and friends at Hotel Emma for their intimate wedding. The historic brick architecture at the Pearl is a perfect backdrop for photos and creates a warm inviting ambience. The Pearl offers a walkable community right off the San Antonio riverwalk. There are many great shops and well acclaimed restaurants.
The Beauty of an Intimate Wedding
Sheila and Dave’s wedding day was relaxed and filled with so much love. Their first look was in Hotel Emma’s library. It was quiet and cozy, perfect location to see each other the first time and pray together. We took their coupe portraits around Hotel Emma and the Pearl. Their ceremony was located at the courtyard right outside the restaurant, Supper. After their beautiful ceremony they held their dinner reception at Supper in the Swiggle Key room. Before dinner began, Sheila and Dave shared a bow of soup. The sharing of soup with a bib tied around the married couple is a passed down Czech tradition. Sharing the soup at their wedding dinner symbolizes their future of sharing everything together.
Supper served a delicious meal. Drinks were poured, laughters and stories were exchanged. Sheila’s maid of honor/sister and Dave’s best man gave their heartwarming speeches before their cake cutting. Wedding days like these remind me how special intimate weddings are.
